The National Fisherman content team is developing the 2025 Educational Program for this year’s Pacific Marine Expo (PME), set to take place this fall in Seattle, Washington. National Fisherman is seeking industry professionals to share their knowledge and drive conversations about the unique challenges facing regional fisheries and local communities.

Your perspective can help highlight issues affecting local fisheries that may be overlooked at the federal level. By adding your voice, you’ll play a vital role in fostering open dialogue, raising awareness, and working toward long-term solutions for our industry.

Presentation Opportunities-
We provide two platforms to share your story:

Pacific Marine Expo Main Stage
Engage in panel discussions or deliver presentations on the most pressing issues facing the commercial fishing industry today.

WorkBoat West Stage
Explore maritime topics tailored to the West Coast WorkBoat community, covering shipbuilding, vessel operations, and other technical or community-driven subjects.

PME’s Educational Program aims to provide a platform for conversations that drive real change in the industry. We welcome presentations on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to regional fisheries challenges, marine safety, regulatory changes, business management for small fisheries, workforce challenges and development, technological innovations in fishing, and strategies for supporting sustainable practices. If you have insights to share, we encourage you to contribute to these critical discussions.

Whether you're a commercial fisherman, industry advocate, researcher, or business leader, your knowledge and experience can help shape the future of fisheries and maritime operations. If you're interested in speaking, submit your proposal today and join us in Seattle this fall to engage with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and help strengthen the industry for years to come.
