Feel like getting out of the Lower 48? Now you can escape to the all-new Alaska Hall — your source for all things Alaska.

We’ve renamed the East Hall for Pacific Marine Expo because the show’s Alaska-based businesses simply could not be contained in the 500 aisle. It’s given us the opportunity to highlight the important role Alaska plays in our domestic seafood economy and conversely the importance of the fishing and seafood industries to Alaska’s economy.

All businesses exhibiting in the Alaska Hall are based in Alaska. This year the Alaska Hall of Fame (formerly known as Follow the AK Trail) has been renamed for the new hall.

We’re also excited to be part of the Symphony of Seafood announcement ceremony this year (winners will be announced at the session New Products: Your Bottom Line Is on the Line on Friday at 3 p.m. on the Main Stage).

Cornerstone exhibitors in the new hall include Alaska Air Cargo, the Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation, the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association, Alaska Marine Safety Education Association, Commercial Fishermen for Bristol Bay and the United Fishermen of Alaska.

The Alaska Hall, presented in partnership with Alaska Air Cargo, also houses the Main Stage, Beer Garden and Fishermen’s Lounge. So if you’re looking for the action, the chances are, you’ll find it here.

As the folks at ASMI would say, Ask for Alaska!
