Simrad’s TV80 software can be set up to show the fisherman at a glance the door spread, door depth, door height off the bottom, door pitch, door roll, temperature at the door, as well as the distance from the door to the middle of the headrope! This last set of parameters is trawl geometry and is the only way to determine the squareness of the trawl when fishing.
