I sat down this morning for a quick interview with Andy Wink, executive director of the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association, on what the association is doing to prepare for the 2020 season.

Alaska's Bristol Bay fishery brings roughly 15,000 people to the area to harvest, tender and process fish in a region that has 7,000 year-round residents and extremely limited health care capacity.

The BBRSDA held a virtual Town Hall for stakeholders that drew more than 600 participants. You can watch the hourlong presentation below.

For more information and regular updates, stay tuned here, and visit the BBRSDA's fleet info pages on covid-19 and general updates from the association's Facebook page.
