It is designed to accommodate the most axial and radial shaft movement while eliminating wear on the shaft. It keeps seawater out of your vessel and your bilge dry. The DryMax seal has an engineered nitrile rubber seal ring that rotates with the shaft and creates a hydrodynamic seal when running against the DuraChrome mating ring. The materials used to make the seal were engineered to provide optimal sealing and long wear life in the harshest conditions.
