The Port of Angoon contains a deep-draft dock, a small boat harbor, and a State ferry terminal, none of which are equipped with rail connections. Freight arrives by both ferry and barge. The City of Angoon operates the State-owned Boat Harbor Floats in the Port of Angoon that are used for mooring of both commercial and recreational vessels. With alongside depth of 3 meters (10 feet) MLLW, the Small Boat Harbor has berthing space for about 90 vessels.
The City of Angoon Cargo Dock is owned by the tribal Angoon Community Association and operated by the Angoon Oil & Gas Company. This Port of Angoon wharf receives petroleum products and is equipped with a 3-inch pipeline connected to three steel storage tanks with a total capacity for 1425 barrels. The Alaska Marine Lines use a steel ramp to move containerized general cargo at the natural bank located near the rear of the dock. The Cargo Dock offers berthing space of 33.5 meters (110 feet) with alongside depth of 12 meters (40 feet) MLLW.
