Hope, family, community and safety were themes at the annual Blessing of the Fleet Sunday, June 16 at Barnegat Light Yacht Basin. The event was described as an interdenominational service where fishing and recreational boats are blessed – a local tradition in memory of all who “have crossed the bar.”
